I use the Logitech Wireless Boombox to stream music from my ipad, and I am very happy with the sound quality. I am using it in a loft and the sound carries well throughout the space. Other more expensive wireless speakers could have had slightly better sound, but I wasn't willing to spend twice the money for such a small difference in quality, especially given that I am playing music in an open space.

I have owned the unit for about 3 months now and it is still working well. I will note that the light signals are starting to given me hiccups regarding battery life. It is telling me the battery needs to be recharged, when the unit was charged all day long, for example. Also, I have had a few issues to connect the bluetooth, but nothing that couldn't be resolved by re-initiating the link in the settings. All in all, I am very happy with these speakers!

We all know that boom boxes and stereo components are getting smaller and smaller. It's the magic of miniaturization. But remember the good ol' days when you dragged huge speakers into your dorm room. Back then big speakers meant great sound. The Hummer may not be as big as some of those speakers, but it's styling harkens back to those days. The sound on the Hummer boom box is fantastic and it comes with a sub-woofer.

The Hummer box is not really portable. If you're shopping for some small box that'll fit in your backpack, then this isn't for you. But what is really appealing about this box is the unique Hummer styling. It's a big, heavy boom box that's built to last. It even has a rubberized bottom to prevent sliding. The styling is very cool. It resembles the front grill of a Hummer. It's nothing like those petite boxes that look like a Walkman with speakers. Though bigger than it looks in the picture, it's still compact enough that I use it in my car to listen to books on tape during my commute. No nonsense and easy to use. Sound quality is good, but not great. A nice buy for the price.

I bought this model over a year ago. I record three hours a day on cassette, and listen almost that much, so it works out 5-7 hours a day of cassette use. (I prefer cassettes because you don't lose your place when you stop or take it out.) I use it to tape radio programs, and when I listen I fast forward a lot through the commercials. So it has been used really hard. It is only now making noises like it might be wearing out, so I'm buying a new one to have on hand. I have found over many years of doing this that buying expensive cassette players wasn't worth the money, they didn't last any longer than the cheap ones. So I have just bought cheap players and just replaced them every 3 to 6 months. I bought this one last year when I couldn't find any $15-$20 cassette players locally any more. I have been amazed at its durability for the price, far better than any other brand or model (I've owned other coby brands that didn't last too well). i love this boom box. nice size .i wish it had a car plug hook up that's the only thing its missing.
